Veggie marinara with angel hair pasta, and garlic bread everything bagels!

Updated to include a picture of the marinara that Ivan helped me cook while I was busy at the counter, and a pic of our late lunch/early dinner (including garlic bread made with everything bagels).

I also added one additional heirloom tomato picture. I don't remember offhand which variety, but I know it was from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds (www.rareseeds.com).  It's yellow now, but I think it is the Orange Accordion variety.  I'm anxious to try that one on a tomato sandwich when it ripens!

Just a quick pic of the large Sart Roloise heirloom tomato from our organic garden today.

I also used a basket full of various varieties of tomatoes, garlic, and herbs from our garden which will be cooked into a marinara with artichoke hearts, onions, and kalamata olives to serve with angel hair pasta, per Elena's request.

Most of the dinner prep is already done.  We will pair it with a garden salad, including croutons I just made fresh with some leftover sourdough bread and some dark Lithuanian rye bread.  I'll also make some homemade garlic bread. I usually keep extra garlic butter with herbs and spices in the refrigerator for a quick and easy garlic bread when the timing is right.
